  More on the Slaughter Plot

This links to information anyone could find, so I'm not going to hide it from the public.

Let me recommend two related links: CDC Ruins the Mandate Push and What They Didn't Tell You. They address the natural immunity factor of this plandemic. Taken together, you get more evidence that this whole thing was engineered, and quite poorly. The virus they released had limitations they didn't expect. It could only infect a certain limited portion of the human population in the first place. It did that and the rest were immune. The plague was over. That is, until the vaccines came out. The vaccines remove the native immunity so that there would be a resurgence in the sickness rate. No one should be surprised that in any jurisdiction with a high vaccination rate, the virus is making a roaring comeback. Worse, the vaccines are their own threat (blood clots, among other things). The data is publicly available to show all of this.

There are people out there today who knew what would happen before it was done to us. These people are committed to reducing the human population of the world regardless of the costs.

  NT Doctrine -- Matthew 8:1-13
Posted by: Ed Hurst - 11-13-2021, 04:02 PM - Forum: Sermons, Teachings, Blog Posts - Replies (2)

Those who seek to study the life of Christ and harmonize the Gospels generally make one very serious error: They assume that similar sounding events must be the same event, so it's necessary to dispute how the authors sequence them. It makes a lot more sense to assume that Jesus said the same things the same way on multiple occasions. That's how real teachers and prophets do things.

Further, given the people He blesses come from the same basic culture, it's quite likely they would tend to approach Him in the same way regarding some need. If someone testifies, "I said this and did that, and He healed me," then we should assume others will decide to use the same approach. They treat it like a protocol of supplication before a lord. So, when we see something that lacks strong distinguishing details, it's better to assume the author didn't somehow forget the sequence, but that the same scene repeats itself at times.

Another issue is that the Gospel writers themselves often use ambiguous language about when certain events took place, pulling them together in themes. We can see that Matthew does this at times, but so does Luke and Mark, and John makes no pretense at chronology unless he flatly says so. Matthew tells us that a leper came to Jesus in faith for healing right after the Sermon on the Mount. Luke recounts a similar event earlier in the story line, as does Mark. How many lepers did Jesus heal, and how likely is it that the story would have spread among the leper community in Galilee? There's no reason to discount Matthew putting this incident in sequence here in our text.

Given the protocols, the leper would have approached from a distance out in front of the crowd following Jesus, and would have stopped after declaring himself unclean, and promptly asking if Jesus was willing to heal him. Jesus would step forward, while the crowd hung back, and would have performed this miracle. Then He would give His standard instruction for cleansed lepers. The issue is not that leprosy was communicable, but it was a matter ritual defilement, which figures large in the next story.

With the Centurion's Servant, we catch a glimpse of faith no longer common in Israel. Notice how Luke (7:1-10) is probably more precise about how the Centurion didn't come in person, but sent one of his servants. It shows a Greek approach to the story. However, in Matthew's more Hebraic approach to storytelling, he says the Centurion came, because educated Hebrew readers were long used to the idea of assuming that any such servant represented faithfully his master. In terms of what happened, it might as well have been the man himself. Keep this in mind when reading the Old Testament in particular.

We see the Centurion was exceedingly sharp, and understood this quite clearly. He knew that Jewish men would be loath to enter a Gentile dwelling, because it would make them ritually unclean, the same as with lepers. It was a hassle to then go bathe and stay away from everyone until sundown. So he simply pointed out that the exercise of authority didn't require personal presence, a very Hebrew concept. If the Centurion could send a servant, and everyone take for granted he acted on his master's command, why could not Jesus command the natural world like a servant? And indeed, this is the way it works.

Luke then leaves out a very Hebrew comment Jesus made over this whole scene. Nobody doubts that, in the Kingdom of Heaven, the ancient heroes of faith would be at home God's courts. We should expect to see the Patriarchs there. The English translation is far less picturesque than the Greek words Matthew uses: "From the rising of the sun to the setting, many will come to lounge with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of the Sky." We would say they'll kick back in comfort. This implies that hoards of Gentiles will be allowed into the Kingdom. "But the sons of the Kingdom" -- referring to those who descend from the Patriarchs by blood -- "will be tossed out into the darkness, and they will wail and gnash their teeth" at the opportunity they lost.

This becomes a recurring theme with Jesus. His teaching was meant to restore the Covenant as the entrance to the Kingdom of Heaven. That a herd of Gentiles would meet the requirements without being part of the nation leaves us with the recognition that the Covenant of Moses wasn't the only way to find peace with God. Rather, it's the faith glowing within the veil of the Covenant that God is hoping everyone finds, because that's how we are welcomed into His Presence.

I haven't been out to Draper Lake in a long time. I can't ride the hills, nor can I ride as far as I used to. While I can drive out there, I can't walk that far any more. This was one of the many picnic tables around the lake. We are looking north from the southern most part of the lake.

  Please pray for Lyn
Posted by: forrealone - 11-09-2021, 02:20 PM - Forum: Prayer Requests - Replies (14)

My friend and neighbor, Lyn, was taken to the hospital by ambulance last Monday, the 1st. He had a glucose level of 500 and his heart was in a-fib. Testing showed his blood was “as thick as syrup” and that both kidneys and his bladder was infected. He had become septic. The infection was determined to be MRSA so he has been on the strongest IV antibiotic they have. An MRI shows pockets of infection along his cervical and thoracic spine.

Lyn was a friend of my husband and since Bryan died, Lyn has always checked on me and helped with whatever he could for me.  He is a good man and friend.

Dear Lord, we ask that you shower Lyn with health and peace and rest. We ask for Your compassion, patience and wisdom be placed upon all the medical folks that are attending to his care. Please be with his wife and son and give them Your peace. In the name of Our Lord, Jesus we pray.

  Engineered Food Shortages

This really should not be news to anyone paying attention: Another Globalist "Simulation" Comes True. Just like the simulations run before the fake COVID plague was unleashed on us, there are more simulations being run by the same people, tipping their hand on what they plan for us. I've linked to a Corbett Report article that is normally behind a paywall, but this copy was posted on a third party site. I think it's worth reading.

One of the first things that come to mind is that this will hit big cities harder than anywhere else, especially cities that aren't anywhere near agricultural areas. Now, keep in mind, I'm convinced that God isn't going to let these jerks win. Their simulation about the plague predicted a higher compliance rate on vaccines and other mandates, so they clearly don't understand human nature. The biggest single defense against their efforts to steer us into major tribulation and population reduction is to disconnect from the global system. This massive effort to centralize human government is the real issue at stake here. If you can grasp decentralization, you understand the only thing we can really do about this stuff.

The problem is overcoming the massive conditioning they've been conducting for a very long time. It's overwhelming. From every direction -- entertainment, sports, education, church, etc. -- everything thrown at us presumes a priori that it is essential we have a global inter-dependency on everything. It's the doctrine everyone has swallowed before they even become aware of anything. We have to grasp the idea that isolation from the rest of the world is a good thing in itself. Rooting out the globalist lies won't be easy.

Those simulations are also based on assumptions about reality that never make room for God to act without their input. He can move in the hearts of His people to do things that no human admits are even possible, much less desirable. So the solution for those of us stuck in the midst of all this is self-reliance in the sense of vacating the ghetto at the foot of the Tower of Babel. We need to reprogram our own thinking in terms of greater independence and decentralization. It means poking around in all our assumptions about life in general. This is a tall order, but it's part of the path for Covenant people walking through tribulation.

I'm not suggesting it's somehow more holy to flee the city and live in rural isolation. I'm talking about the dependency factor internally. You need to reside where God tells you to live. But wherever you live, you need a mind prepared to cloister up with people of faith and not remain attached to the toxic umbilical cord of the globalists.

  Be Careful What You Say

This is just a reminder why we have to be careful what we publish on the Net. Some guy is running what amounts to a hobby forum and gets sued constantly by a couple of oddball people who want control over things they cannot legally control.

Notice how I worded that neutrally. I published a link to an article without copying any of the text, not even a fair use sample. I'm pretending to be afraid of lawsuits.  Angel

Of course, it's all supposed to be ridiculous, even funny, particularly how I worded it. But in all seriousness, it also explains the value of avoiding naming names, and why anyone would seek anonymity on the Internet. A court could force the service providers to give up one's identity, but a warrant of that sort is not something a litigant could get for free. So far as I know, what's called "discovery process" cannot be gained without lawyers and fees. That freebie stuff applies only when you already have all the evidence you need for a claim.

It's one thing to be open and honest, taking responsibility for what you say and do in the real world. But the Internet is a madhouse. It can sometimes be bent to a good purpose, but it is increasingly ludicrous how it's used by the cranks in this world (people who take themselves too seriously). I believe we've done a good job so far of avoiding stuff that would get our host sued, but sometimes it bears a little reminding of where the boundaries are. On the other hand, if you risk nothing, you do nothing.

  NT Doctrine -- Matthew 7:15-29
Posted by: Ed Hurst - 11-06-2021, 02:51 PM - Forum: Sermons, Teachings, Blog Posts - Replies (5)

There had been a strong sense of expectation during those years about the Messianic prophecies. Those who paid attention to the likes of Daniel felt the time was about due. There were any number of hucksters willing to jump on this bandwagon to sell themselves as prophets, but their lives bore no resemblance to the primary marks of someone getting ready for God to come for a visit. Some of those hucksters were supported by the Pharisees, offering a harsh message that condemned the peasants for failing to observe the legalistic nonsense.

So when John the Baptist came on the scene, his asceticism made him stand out. It wasn't hard to find out where he came from, and to discover that he spent a lot of his time in the wilderness and living in stringent self-denial. And when he began to prophesy, his message hit very hard on the Scribes and Pharisees, so it was obvious he wasn't one of their kind. He preached a genuine repentance for everyone. It was painfully obvious that his personal life was right in line with his message.

It should have been clear that Jesus was referring to His cousin, now in prison, when he spoke of prophets. Jesus and John had the same message, and folks who had listened to John recognized that. By contrast, the Pharisaical prophets were wealthy and comfortable. The only "burden" they had was for the people, with harsh condemnation and even harsher rules of conduct, not the burden of a message demanding a genuine change of heart. Jesus referred to them as wolves in sheep's clothing. What kind of fruit could you find in a prophet's personal life? Did he actually live his message? They claimed to be helping the people while devising ways to defraud them of whatever they owned. It was clear that Jesus was trying to protect the sheep grazing on the good fodder He was offering them, a genuine fruitful message that lifted you up closer to the Lord. By the fruits of their lives could you recognize what kind of prophet a man was.

In His message, Jesus had been talking about what it took to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, a Messianic term. It's not enough to mouth the words and call Him "Lord." It required people who were determined to please the Father. It's possible to falsely echo the things Jesus said, to appear to drive out demons and do other miraculous things, all fun and exciting stuff. But what will people see when they visit you after the show is over? Will these folks actually walk the same path that Jesus did?

Later, Jesus asked a few folks to sell all they had and to serve with Him in ministry. That's what it meant to make Him Lord, so it wasn't enough to simply call Him "Lord." When the Day of Judgment came, He would not remember them because they wouldn't pay the price to stay close to Him. They were just faces in a crowd who never distinguished themselves in His eyes.

To actually live this gospel message is like building with stones on bedrock. It's solid and neither persecution nor sorrow can shake you. But if you don't take the message to heart, it's like piling rocks on sand. It wouldn't take much of trial to wash that away. Indeed, to have someone's false front collapse that way in public would be an even bigger show than the alleged miracles.

Did John the Baptist recant when arrested? No, he stood on his prophetic message firmly to the end. Jesus would also stand on His message to the end. To the people listening, one of the most amazing things about Him was that He never quoted previous rabbinical experts, as the Scribes did. He simply taught from the Covenant, as if He had written it Himself.
