Please pray for Lyn
#11
Hi.  Here it is into the New Year.  Lyn finally got transferred to a rehab facility.  On New Year's Day for the first time since November 1st, he was able to sit outside in the fresh air and sun. He has a long road yet ahead of him, but hope he will be home in a few weeks.

Thank you all for your prayers!

Great to hear!

Was the rehab because of his surgery?

Not really.  All of his surgeries were for the sole purpose of cutting him open to drain infection out of various parts of his body!  And then they were re-opened again to be flushed.  The MRSA infection was all over inside of him.

With two months of being in a hospital bed and a weakened system and probably some atrophy, his body needs to strengthen back up in order for him to walk on his own and whatever else.  I am sure he will eventually be fine and back to "his normal", but it will probably take a while even after he is back home.

He is an engineer, has his own business of over 30 years and designs all kinds of boards and communications equipment (including different types of warning system devices) for a variety of clientele.  He makes a really cool little weather warning radio.

Anyway, keep the prayers coming for him and a complete recovery in store as Our Lord wills it.

Thank you all.

If you're comfortable sharing, I'd be curious to take a look at his company website or online portal for device sales (assuming he sells to individuals and not just companies or contract-work). Sounds like some neat stuff.

Glad to hear he is on the mend.
