Gout
#1
Uh... Let's see, this gout is not going away. Pretty much overnight I've had to change my diet and the "gout" diet is "if it tastes good? Spit it out".
Next time I'm told "you need to do better" in any area, I shall. If I had acted on what I was told, I don't think I would have gout. I had been told and didn't listen to the urgings of my friend Jesus who was trying to help. His Daddy acted to make it necessary for me to obey His will as to an overall healthy lifestyle.
Therefore, I highly recommend an immediate "yessir", followed by whatever action deemed applicable to the furtherance His Devine Awesomeness. So, please pray as led on this matter.
It's very simple eat good, do right and maybe this condition will improve. I am still working and I'm on my feet the whole time. Wednesday I managed 6 hours, yesterday it was 4 hours and I don't know how long I'll do today I'm shooting for 5.
So, guys and gal, help me here, put in a good word.

What? No more chitterlings and beer? Oh dear...

Yeah, I've been forced to make some changes, so I can empathize with how much work that is. May the Lord grant you the resolve and peace to keep moving forward.

I managed 2.5 hours at work before my foot was fixin' to bust my shoe and that's when it gets powerful sore, it's in both but, the left is mouthier. And, that's when I leave and go home and wrap it with ice. I haven't eaten a single aggravating thing since Tuesday. I think I need to keep my foot up for a day or two but, that ain't practical. The good part is that my feet are drowning out my other hurts.

I'm beginning to think that my condition is not gout and here's why
I've taken the knockout gout meds on 3 occasions without any relief
I've completely changed my diet, all the junk is out the window ; fruits and veggies now rule the day. My body doesn't understand this new nutrition and has reacted accordingly. That is passing quickly in a flurry of evacuations and I feel great but, my feet stay swollen and painful. I will go back to see that lady Doctor, she said if I didn't see improvement to come back so, Monday I go back.

May the Lord grant you wisdom to see what the message from your body is.

In my experience, the LNP, who I call the Lady Dr, in Urgent Care at the clinic where my wife works is better than my Dr who is one of the partners at the same clinic. She is very thorough and very much like Drs of old and does things like "You have all the symptoms of gout, you can have expensive bloodwork to confirm it or we can treat it like gout and go from there".  Wow, when was the last time a Dr considered cost to the patient. That would be the family Dr we had in the 60's when I was a young'un. The reason why it's taking so long is because I kept working instead of taking a day or two off to keep my feet up and let my body heal. So, I'm going to work this morning so, George (my boss) can make the necessary adjustments and get someone to fill in. I'm working 7 days a week; six 6 hour shifts and a four hour shift. There are 8 more weeks of daily activities, after that things slow down until the season ends in October.
Back to the Lady Dr, she said that staying on my feet like I have, has the effect of aggravating the pressure points on my feet and making recovery difficult. So, I'm breaking down and taking a day off tomorrow. Pray you'nz.
