I'm stopping taking Paxil. The way your body is introduced to it is incremental and by the time I got to the full dose I had a constant headache so, now the process is being reversed. I don't plan on taking another SSRI. Previously I was taking 1mg of Xanax twice daily, when Paxil was added, the doc reduced the X to one half mg 2/daily. I will continue at that dose. What triggered my "episode" was quitting my midday 1mg of X because, it made me drowsy at work. The half dose doesn't. So the upshot is I'll be taking half the meds as before. This is worthy of Praise.
Additionally, I practice "heart meditation" every day instead of occasionally. Conventional meditation is a mind work, heart meditation focuses on the heart. Heart meditation is a deeper subject and requires a thread of its own.

I'm glad to hear you can moderate the meds. It's a crazy world where we sustain so much damage that such meds are even on the radar. I'd love to read what you have to say about heart meditation.

Now I can add to the discussion! I have Oxycodone for my shoulder, but it seems it's best for helping me sleep. Plain Advil is better for the pain, but thankfully I don't have a lot of resting pain, so I don't need to take either that often.

I also want to hear about this meditation Smile
