Will be interesting to see how it could affect things over the weekend, and early next week. There's plenty of evidence already but if there's lots of interesting things going on after the CMEs arrive, it'll be even more confirmation.

They should be light enough to do no real harm, but could teach us a lot about what to expect when it does get serious. I’m betting on some vulnerabilities getting exposed this weekend.

Yes very interesting time. We had a thin overcast last evening but was able to discern some green and reddish tinge to the sky. Our niece in TN got some really good shots of the auroras.
