Confessing to Glory
#1
During my adventurous ride yesterday, it occurred to me that God had granted a request from a few weeks ago. I realized that the VA was not going to provide any serious treatment for the knee pain. I was on my own. So I asked the Lord to restore my knees so that I could at least ride.

I can testify that hard riding had begun to hurt last year. I backed off only after the pain became too significant. Now the pain has backed off and I am able to do all the hard riding from previous years. I may even be able to return to bikepacking. Of course that depends on the economy, but at least the Lord granted the thing I did ask.

Thus, I rode with thanksgiving and praise.

Praise the Lord. What a testimony to His Grace, Love and Healing!

In the last few days, He has answered so many prayers for me and those for whom prayer was needed or requested.  Even some small things that I have prayed for!  When lifted up to Him, they all bring Glory to His name!

Hallelujah, dear Brother.

I'll chime in. Amazing Ed. I have wondered at your strength to cycle. And you seem to use a normal 2 wheel bike. Around my neighborhood the guys use the 3 wheel and those bikes you sent down and lay back on. I am pleased as punch that God has strengthened you to enjoy your intense rides.
Linda so glad to hear about your prayer answer joys!
God has been answering prayers over my way I haven't even prayed and other prayers I've prayed are being answered in some sweet ways. My daughter who was experiencing chest pain is doing extremely well and of course she is thrilled. My dad seems to be either being moved by God to do some things differently that glorify Him or he might be hearing from God but doesn't know it yet. I'm listening and observing. I need transportation and have been approved for a car loan but not sure God wants me in that yet. Also I have been needing to move. Our Father has gotten me a small camper, super cute, an oldie. Im going to gut it and make it livable. My prayer is to move it to an rv spot at least 45 minutes north of my current location. I'm on an island , I've prayed to get off the island. So the Father's will be done. I will keep going forward and watch as He tweeks and/or corrects my path. Its all such a ride, being content hungry or full.
Hallelujah, family!

Just on general principle, I can endorse the idea of getting a camper home. Being mobile will prove a blessing over the next few years for most people. I rejoice with you. Also, glad to hear your daughter is doing better, as well as your dad.

So happy to hear all these reports of answered prayer! I came across an internet personality several months back (Praying Medic) and while I've not gone through his material as much as I'd like, and some of what I have seen gives me pause, it keeps coming back to me that the miracles he claims to be witness to is exactly the level of victory the Father wants for us, and not the level most believer's experience.

Like Army physical fitness tests (ROTC only, in my case), where I was OK on push-ups and sit-ups, but lousy on the run, I feel like I can hack daily Bible reading, and even fasting, but I'm lousy on prayer.

Father help me get where I need to be in my relationship with you.

Lord Jesus open to Benjamin the wonder and the beauty of prayer before You. Glorious glorious that the Holiest place has been opened whereby we can fall down before the Father that we love. I am praying for your praying Benjamin
