Rejoice!

In the Lord always!  Wow.  The Lord is mighty and so loving and kind to bless us with each other!  This prayer meeting of ours has blessed me in so many ways.  He touched you and let me join Him today!

As He did so with just a few so many centuries ago, may He bless our few in each, as well as in our collective, efforts by using us as He wills.

Love you all so very much.

Amen

True, Linda. Thank you for being a part of RF here.

God rules! Don't be afraid of the music or the corniness. Something for fun:

I agree that the coordinated prayer session worked well. Fine job of orchestration, Jay. All of you are a treasure in my life. We have something the world cannot take away.

You said it, Ed! The feeling is mutual.

I prayed for about 5 or so minutes, but I didn't want to put a time limit for the rest of us, so I sent out the ending/followup tweet. If anyone has another idea on how to do that, let me know. Otherwise I would just keep the same "schedule".

Huh.  I don't tweet so never got an ending/followup.  Besides, I don't think an "ending" anything is necessary simply because we all pray for probably different lengths of time.

IMHO, I think a single "call to prayer" text around 15 minutes ahead or so is sufficient......

Goodness. My mistake. I meant "text" but typed out "tweet." It couldn't have been a tweet since I don't do twitter.

I like your idea. 15 minutes before is good. I can try that next week.

I didn't receive any texts, probably because I use a burner flip phone. I got a "yo Gibbs, retro phone cool" from some spotty kid. Gibbs is a reference to NCIS tv show character Agent Gibbs played by Mark Harmon. I don't like cell phones, I was perfectly happy before they became commonplace. I only use mine to call or mainly text my wife & young'uns . I don't answer numbers I don't recognize because Tracfone is notorious for sending minute gobbling calls, "I don't think so..Homey don't play that."
I just pray at 5 :00 pm Eastern time for RFers regardless. Everyday, if I can remember, Wednesday for certain.
If you have a pressing concern PM here is good. I check every day.
Now, I'm gonna go remove the primary/clutch cover from my old mc just to be doing something, it's called piddlin' in these parts.

As long as you pray, that's good enough for me Smile

Sending you a PM now. Just a warning Wink
