Just a little story about Grace.
#1
I was born in Lenoir, NC in 1963. My family was just like everybody else's; Dad had a 1950s Brylcream haircut (not a ducktail, more like Rock Hudson) and went to work while Mother stayed home and took care of the kids. On Sunday's, we went to Mt Zion United Methodist Church. When I was 5 years old, my family quit going to church, after Pop got into it with the leadership; people to whom he ever after referred to as a " bunch of hypocrites". He then decided, at 34, to grow his hair and become a hippie, well more of a pseudo hippie and I think a lot of it was to piss off his Dad. So, I was raised by a man who looked like a hippie but, was actually pretty conventional albeit a liberal. Yeah Dad was a leftie of the pre PC vintage of the 50's and 60's, very pro 2nd amendment, "I don't care where a man puts his pecker as long as he don't want to put it in me", he lived long enough to see the gay marriage thing, which he thought was absurd. He voted for JFK, NIXON, Bill Clinton W (2000) and Obama, twice and he would have voted for Trump because he would never have voted for a woman for President ( he was born in 1934) A female Representative? Yeah, he voted straight ticket "DEMICRAAT!" Anyway, by 1970 Dad had long black curly but, not bushy, hair. He used to let me stand behind his chair and run my fingers through it, yep he had beautiful hair. He was just an all around good guy. Unfortunately he married a coldhearted, ill tempered, narcissistic shrew who unleashed her frustrations in the form of psychological abuse on her "beloved boys" and that's all I got to say about that and it plays no further part this continuing narrative.
End Part One.  Man, I hate ending on a downer..."BLEHHAABIBBILISPLABLEFLOP!!!" That's...better...it's an actual Yosemite Sam quote y'know...well...mayyybeee,,,not.

Hmm. It sounds more like a quote from the Tasmanian Devil.

The left and the right go through some libertarian phases every so often. The left was libertarian-leaning during Vietnam, then went back to cheerleading government when Carter came into office. Same with the right, under Clinton and Obama.

It really depends under what tribe name the Head Bureaucrat (president) resides; wrong tribe = government bad. Everyone suddenly becomes anti-government when the the guy they don't want is president.

Yuh! Exasperated sigh...Everyone's a critic. On page 7A you'll find the following retraction of yesterday's front page.

We the editors of "The Nuts and Misfits Herald Courier Dispatch Post Times Daily Weekly News Report and Psychotic Break tentatively admit to a slight error in our reporting and submit the following correction.

..."BLEHHAABIBBILISPLABLEFLOP!!!" That's a Tasmanian Devil quote from Bugs Bunny cartoon no. 387 "Road to Pismo Beach" co-starring Daffy Duck.

 "Rasselfrasselgrssnnnn...rrrrRabbit", that's Yosemite Sam.

I made a Yosemite Sam reference the other day in a text. What's the world coming to?

Jay, it's likely just a symptom of getting old and remembering cultural references the younger generations would likely never understand.
