The Psychology of Western Government
#1
Something I read this morning said it so clearly.

Quote:Markets and states do so by fostering ‘imagined communities’ that contain millions of strangers, and which are tailored to national and commercial needs. An imagined community is a community of people who don’t really know each other, but imagine that they do. Such communities are not a novel invention. Kingdoms, empires and churches functioned for millennia as imagined communities…

The two most important examples for the rise of such imagined communities are the nation and the consumer tribe. The nation is the imagined community of the state. The consumer tribe is the imagined community of the market. Both are imagined communities because it is impossible for all customers in a market or for all members of a nation really to know one another the way villagers knew one another in the past…

Consumerism and nationalism work extra hours to make us imagine that millions of strangers belong to the same community as ourselves, that we all have a common past, common interests and a common future.

People abandon the God that provides them with a community for a “god” that provides them with “free” stuff. The government is much easier to satisfy. You don’t have to be polite and grateful to your neighbors when they help you. The government obscures where the help really comes from, and leaves people with a sense of entitlement.

This is a part of the deeper sickness of Western Civilization. The Germanic Tribal background brings with it the presumed feudal ownership without a covenant. This is where Western governments get the habit of presuming jurisdiction, and "ignorance of the law is no excuse." It's a cold and dehumanizing approach to things. Without a covenant, there can be no true justice.

Yes, it does echo the Protocols in that sense. Here's the thing: We all know those plans have brought fruit, but if we keep saying so, it gives the nay-sayers an excuse to spew their propaganda. So we keep looking for ways to tell the truth without mentioning that prescient document, except quietly amongst ourselves.

Wasn't Protocols proven to be a forgery? I'm not saying it's not necessarily inaccurate, but that particular conspiracy would have to be proven otherwise.

We can thank television, and print media to a lesser extent, for using our brain's empathy centers for materialist purposes.

Agreed, I tried to keep the reference as oblique as possible I should have used email. The last thing I want is to be lumped together with the loony toonz. It was one of my wee hours good sense slippages. I deleted it.

It's impossible to say, the translation from Russian to English and it's "smuggling" back to England during the Russian Revolution reads like a treatment for a spy film. The original author had to have been from an Orthodox Christian background , they view Jews as anti-Christ. He was certainly very familiar with the inner workings of Jewish leadership. Personally, I think they are an amalgamation of genuine goals and exaggerations designed to boast anti-jewish sentiment, possibly with the hope of expelling them. The Tsars government was well aware that various revolutionary groups were predominately led and financed by Jews.
I find it fascinating how much the document accurately predicted events of the 20th Century. In the interest of avoiding excoriation of this forum by the splc and adl.I deleted my post I wasn't thinking clearly  because it was very early in the am and past my bedtime. I've since deleted it. You have the power Jay please just erase the whole thing. This forum is not the place for it. I would hate to be the one responsible for bringing the wrath of those people on this forum.

Just a note before we move on to other things: Jay, it wasn't proved to be a forgery; it as proclaimed a forgery by certain groups. There are a whole range of subjects carefully protected by some strict laws that make it illegal to even ask certain questions. Because of this, there is no open research into those topics. All we have left is some very loud propaganda and ugly threats. I'm not sure how bullet-proof the hosting is for this forum, but there have been hosting companies that shut down sites simply for mentioning the subject. That's because some hosting companies live in dread of the political activist harassment. The Mossad does not play nice.

I might add that the whole story of the Protocols is far more twisted and complicated than appears on the surface. I'll be writing about that on my blog over the next few days. I'll be using it as a major example of something much bigger.
