Nana ER
#1
My mother in law just called and my wife is taking my beater to take her Mom to the ER. Nana is 72 and has health issues, leukemia, hypertension, diabetes and complications so, pray for her. I'm hoping at least one of y'all is up watching MNF like I am.

Just talked to my wife, "she's septic, it's not as bad as last time". The last time it just about killed her so, if it's not as bad. Well shit, I don't know if that means anything really because these things can change quick. I'm going to bed and will dateup in the ningmorn, see I'm all sleepy silly, goodnight everbady.

She's in ICU, it is sepsis. She had a wound on her heal and I had taken her to the doctor's office Friday. I was going to take her to the wound center today but, obviously things didn't work out. I will let y'all know something when I know. Appreciate your prayers, we all do.

We will definitely keep our prayers lifting up, Iain.

I thought I would update y'all on the condition of my mother in law. Miss Judi, Mom, Nana is out of the ICU, she has MRSA "all over" complicated by Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and diabetes. She is not bedridden, she gets up and moves around and she wants to go home. Her Doctors want to transfer her to one of those big hospitals in Winston. Miss Judi and her daughter, my wife, are positively secretive and extracting information requires dental pliers. Makes zero sense to me but, what do I know. Uh...my right foot is still giving me the business.

The larger hospitals have more expertise and protocols for treating MRSA.  It can be extremely challenging once it becomes entensive throughout the body.   There's my two cents....

And sorry about your foot.  Is it gout or plantar fibromas or ??

Yes indeed, that mersa, or as I like to say it; Mister Sa, is bad stuff. It certainly appears that the good folks at RF are getting slammed and I think it's awesome. Trials that demand full reliance on God are like His stamp of approval so, we must be doing something right. $0.01
Metatarsal arthritis, specifically the big toe ball joint is the deal with my feetses. They say I don't have gout but,,, it gets worse if I don't maintain an anti gout diet and gooder when I do. I can't take NSAIDs so, inflammation is a major challenge. I just started taking ginger root, turmeric and alpha lipid acid for the swelling s along with the other mass of supplements.
I would like to walk the maze at Bass Lake, I can hobble the loop but, all my critter friends are on maze trail. Normally, especially in summer, people will avoid the maze because of the bitey bugs. I don't have that problem because, I talk to them "Hey guys, it's your old pal Mr Iain here to remind you of the rules. Don't bite me and I won't mash you, as a fatter of mact, I will throw in a free trash pick up". I don't know for sure if it's because of that but, I rarely get bit. $0.01
...$0.01 plus $0.01 equals uuhh...my two pennies.
