Yesterday, after listening to me complaining about the crappiness of videos that related to Ironhead sportsters,  Boyboy said "You have a camcorder, make your own". I pondered this for a couple of hours, considering the pros and many, many cons of the YouTube vids and concluded yeah, I can do this better. So, I went to my son's room and said "I've been thinking and you're right, G'man I can do better but, to do it to the standards necessary I need to be able to edit and put graphics on screen, now what do I need". "Better laptops than we have" said he
Queestyone for you'uns Ed & Jay Jay, what do I need.
I have the plan for the presentation but, I'm playing my cards close to my chest. I've had too many ideas stolen to write them on an open forum.
My budget is limited.

I've not done a lot of heavy video editing, but I did produce those few I posted on my YouTube account a couple years ago. You can do this on a Win7 machine, but it simply won't be fast. It has to be a machine that nobody else needs right away. There are free packages for editing videos, and some are even usable for knotheads like us. So if you still have that old computer, you can get it done. The only other option is selecting one on eBay that costs about $200 and has enough horsepower (quad-core processor, etc.) to handle it.

Maybe I'll meticulously plan and use my daughter's theater passion to lay them out as like a single camera movie. Yeah, she's really into that stuff. I forgot I need the $300 I have left to build my garage. Thanks to the Democrats we qualified for the (un)earned income tax credit. When the "American Dream" was working for us, my cousin was deevorced and had a kid, she got eitc and we who were kidless at that time wound up owing $500,  I was pissed. I didn't say anything to Cuz but, my wife and I moaned all the way home about our misfortune. Since all I can depend on is seasonal work, we get it. How to round up your kids for supper "HEY! Tax credits you mac & cheese is ready."
I'm going to tape the maintenance and prep of my bike for spring. And throw in some idiocies.

But if the Lord takes a notion and I get my hands on a donated system, I'll ship it to you if you want.

SLAP! SLAP! Wake up, boy you're dreaming! Yes , yes I would. The plastic block that screws into the camcorder and links it to the tripod is missing. I took some cardboard packing, that I had kept because it was very dense and unique and hillbilly engineered a temporary one. That's why I don't throw everything away, if something is odd, I keep it "I might could use this for something later". I feel validated, I was beginning to think I'm a hoarder! Ha ha!
