Super Blood Moon Photos
#1
Questionable quality, of course.

The first is the super moon before the actual eclipse. The weather in Pittsburgh, besides being deathly cold, was ideal: clear skies except for a few small, low-hanging clouds that would add that wonderful atmospheric touch to the scene.

Second photo is a little after the eclipse first started, when the moon was pretty much 4-colored: bright white, gray, yellow, and red.

The night, eclipses, mysterious signs in the heavens, even 5 degree weather aren't evil. Nothing in creation is. Smile

Oh, yes it was wonderful!  There i was in the very cold, windy moonlit night, laying on my back on a thick throw pillow on the front porch steps.   I had to lift my camera high with my readers on, zoom in and take pictures with a camera that doesn't take night time images.  I managed to take over 100 photos!   I transferred them to my laptop and then to my "windows" computer this morning.  Now, i am editing and have selected about 20 or so to work on.  The ones of the moon when it appeared red are really cool!  I quit after the Eclipse was total a little after midnight.  Too cold and tired from holding my camera up like that.  I am pleased with how well the camera worked though certainly not as well as so many talented folks with night vision cameras!   My camera takes large photos so when I shrink them, they dont get too fuzzy.  Here are two I have finished with.

Not sure how inserting works.  Jay?

Nice pictures y'all. I want a dslr camera. I claim it in Jesus name, amen!
Mmmmm......"I'm waiting..... " so much for name it and claim it theol...no I'm not going to elevate it to the level of theology.  It's the spoiled brat of erroneous teaching, no... Dumb teaching. Back to Blood Moons.
A couple of years ago I was channel surfing and I stopped when I saw what looked like an interview with the blustering behemoth general of the Zionista's "Blubbering John" Hagee . He was selling his latest literary masterpiece "The Four Blood Moons" some dispy claptrap about the rapture.
Every time I see "Blood Moon" I picture Blubbering John saying "the FOur bLUdd Mooons".

Yeah, ha ha!  When i was lookin up on the Internet about last night's eclipse,  i saw several links to "end of the world" BULLSHIT.   I just shook my head and thought to myself, "stupid stupid fools", wanderin around aimlessly trying to grab the attention of the poor sheeples' lost little eyes to fill them with hopeless hope.  Pisses me off.  Sorry, guys.  This kinda stuff get me goin!

Oh, and thanks for the compliment, Iain.  Surprised my own self!  I am not that good at it, but I sure do have fun with it.

You did good. Your photos were obviously much better than mine. I wasn't really trying, to be honest. Thanks for those.

I usually upload my photos to my blog then link to them from here, using the Polaroid icon in the row right above where you enter the text for the post. But, you can do the same with the attachments. You'd just have to attach the files and open them up to get the URL.

Last night the moon here looked really odd in the first hour or so of sundown. It was large, slightly yellow, and kind of squished (?) horizontally? I was driving when I saw it, and when I got home it was looking too normal, so I didn't photo it. Weird.

Thanks, Jay for fixing my images.  I see what you mean by the polaroid icon above.

I am working on an eclipse post on my blog, so if you check today folks, there should be more pictures to enjoy.
