Let me suggest that "mind" is less a construct solely of Western Civ and more the cornerstone of the Fall. It's a lie, indeed, and one WC promotes vigorously, but it's the lie from eating the Forbidden Fruit.

Yes, that's what I thought. I think I was more or less going for the philosophy and language surrounding the use of the mind. Western philosophy is solely focused on that, and rarely deviates from what I've seen.
