Hackathon

My team won second place in the hackathon! Thanks for your prayers. I wasn't concerned with winning so much as maintaining sanity, since we were doing a lot of work non-stop for about a week leading up to it. The day of the competition, the other developer and I worked through the night without sleeping.

This may be my last competition. These sorts of things generally aren't for family guys.

Well, congratulations! I am not sure what all it involved, but I would like to know what hidden talents you have! Ha ha

It involved a lot of quick research, quick experience designing, and quick coding and shortcuts to make a workable app prototype (some of the code I wrote was very ugly/hacky). I don't have any special superpowers....just willing to put in the time and elbow grease...and consume some caffeine. As I said, this stuff isn't people with families or online church elders.
