A Contemplative Prayer
#1
I took a longish walk today, at least a couple of miles. During this walk I tossed around a lot of things in my mind, as my heart led.

The net result is that I began praying the Lord would grant us more souls. This is all about His glory, and what could be more glorious than more souls living the heart-led faith life? I realize it will require something substantial to break people free from the way churches have tied up the truth in knots. This kind of thing won't happen quickly on a human scale. But I am praying that we are ready in ourselves to see more people join us. In particular, I would like to see some of us have a chance to actually hold group worship with other heart-led believers.

I've had no doubts this would eventually come about, but I pray that we keep in our minds what it is that glorifies Him as we walk forward into this time of tribulation.

I agree with you.  As I read His Word, i get heavy impressions of "may all of my thoughts, words and actions be solely to please Him" just as a child seeks to please their parent or teacher not for selfish motive or gain but to please.   It is a constant necessity for  me to remind myself of this due to my nature, so deeply ingrained, to react with the mind instead of my heart.

It may happen. I can't personally say one way or another, but sometimes these things have a way of catching on. If God impresses upon enough willing folks, who knows what could come around the bend?
