Wetlands trail photo
#1
Before I joined the call last-last time, I took this photo on the Wetlands trail I was huffing. It's all very tree-ish but there's a few spots like this one where there was a clearing.

Interesting ecosystem: mixture of trees and lots of vines that can kill some of them. And a thick shrubbery that makes me think it's based on vines.

There are some spots in the park in general where there are lots of vines. I guess that's unusual?

I like the random plant right in the center bottom, sticking up from the grass. Little guy blends in a little too easily.

Not so unusual for vines to dominate in places. It happens a lot here in Oklahoma. I recall cutting through a ton of that stuff back when I lived out in rural areas and trying to make trails through the woods.

Makes me want to go for a hike! Maybe this weekend.

I love the contrast between all the green and the sky!
