Rehoming, Old Friend Edition
#1
An old friend of mine that I still keep in contact with not having practical issues with home-buying, but more mental, you could say. He and his wife were looking for a new home for a number of issues, the biggest being closer to better schools for their 3 boys--the oldest of them is 10/11, I believe. They were living in a high-value house they put on the market recently, and sold within a few days of the listing. So, they need to find a new place quick, but he doesn't want to make a purchase he'll regret. They are looking for a "forever home" into which they can set some solid roots down. There's the possibility of renting a house for a few months through a friend, but that isn't definite.

He feels a bit overwhelmed at the moment because of this and other small life issues that seem to be adding up for him. He's been a firm believer as long as I've known him, and still is, but he's just having a tough time of it. Pray that he gets peace of mind about all of it, no matter happens with the housing situation.

Thanks family!

I will absolutely for sure pray for him right now.....

Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, You who hold the universe in Your Hands, we lift up our brother and ask You to fill his heart, his mind and being with Your love, Your kindness, Your compassion and Your wisdom.  We ask Father that You guide him in ways that he will KNOW that is You leading him as he makes these decisions.  May You encourage him, comfort him and nudge him with Your gentle Spirit so that he will know that You are the guiding force in his life.  In Jesus' name, we pray.  AMEN.

Thanks everyone! It's appreciated. I am talking to him again soon, so I will let you know of any updates on his situation.

As always, keep us updated to the degree practical. It's a real blessing to know how our prayers turned out. If you get a chance, let your friend know we are praying for him, and that at least some of us know what it's like.

Will do!

I did mention the forum to him last we talked...despite this thing being around for a decent number of years, I had never mentioned it to him explicitly, only kind of in passing.
