Today, I was out back of the house working in my junkyard, I repeatedly disturbed a yellow jackets nest, instead of being stung to death, the critters went about their business as though I wasn't even there. It was only as finished my work that I saw it, I jumped back in terror, though I'm not allergic I am highly sensitive and a single sting causes huge painful swelling and I hope I never get several. Then I realized I had disturbed that nest first thing. When a heart led person covenants with God's creation to nuture it, to do as little harm as is necessary for one's survival and acknowledges their own part in creations groaning with a contrite heart, creation responds in kind. God knew I didn't disturb that nest on purpose, therefore those normally highly aggressive bugs went about repairing the damage I made. Later on, when a thunderstorm came up I went outside and took a block of wood and a piece of roofing tin to cover the exposed part from the rain. Tomorrow, when the guys show up to take my old Toyota mr2 away I'll make sure I'm the one who hooks up the chain to pull it out of there. I've poured gas down hundreds of yellow jacket nests over the years but, not this time. I want to shine God's Glory for these fellows, who will tell me I'm crazy. No, I ain't crazy dudes, I'm blessed.
