Glad to know you are all okay.
We have little idea how much the weakening magnetic field is letting in all the EM energy from the sun and whatever else is shooting through space. I mean, some people do, but it's not reported on very much except for people like Ben. It makes sense that things that have been quiet suddenly start popping off when encountering those sudden intakes of energy.
Sometime in the early 90s I remember there was a small earthquake overnight when I was still living with my parents in MA. I believe it had to do with the Clinton-Newbury fault line, which travels right near where I lived. It happened overnight and it didn't wake me up.
