Crez posted about childish thinking in Westerners, adults and kids alike. It's mostly children and adults who always question why God doesn't explain Himself or make Himself more known. The presumption is that we'd be able to grasp any of that in the first place, making an idol of the mind. Maybe some of the keener minds would be able to notice that presumption but they won't be able to get far with the same approach.
