So nice to welcome another soul to our family. I live in North Carolina, not too far from Raleigh. Been here for 40 years now. I was born, christened, baptized and raised Eastern Byzantine Catholic. From Virginia in '77, I moved to Iowa with my new husband and the only catholic church was roman and that wasn't for me. I opened a KJV Bible for the first time in my life - growing up, reading the Bible as a layperson was frowned upon. Well, my life changed big time very quickly as the Lord opened my heart with His beautiful words.
I visited many churches, became convicted of certain truths from the Bible and now many years later, I live alone, and study on my own with my old Bible. I was given a blessing years ago when Father (unbeknownst to me) lead me to the home I still live in. It has grown up and I now have towering trees, a creek and oh so many critters that bring me joy and company.
So glad you came to visit and hope you stay; it's nice to "see" new faces!

A great friend of mine used to live near Wilson, NC, and we were able to visit her there a few times (when we still lived in NJ), driving down the DelMarva. We enjoyed that drive so much, love the state. I know next to nothing about the Eastern Byzantine rite! but glad that you have had that guidance from our Father, and how lovely it sounds where you live! So glad to meet you; looking forward to hearing and reading more
