The fire started in the upper floor apartment on the back corner, farthest from both shots. The family of 3 was in their bedrooms and couldn't get out the front door, so they had to jump from the windows. The guy who helped them land safely was injured by trying to catch them. The breezeway was where the fire lasted longest once the firemen arrived. The whole top floor was damaged. My initial assessment is that the building will be demolished as soon as the fire investigators and insurance folks are finished. None of these units are in the best shape, built in 1975 roughly.
