I thought I might start doing this at the gym: putting my earbuds in with no music, just so I can concentrate more inwardly. Not "inwardly" in the psychological sense, like just myself and my thoughts, but so I have little distraction. The only thinking I really need to do is quick math for adding/subtracting weights. The rest is "free time." I'll have a good 30 minutes to an hour of good solid prayer time a day. Pray for me (haha) as I try this option out in the next few weeks.
You know, I reckon that 90% of the time I'm cruising at 8% brain power on what I'm doing and 78% on other things with 10% parasitic losses due to friction in my head case gears. The fact that my math sucks accounts for the remaining 4%.
