In my experience, the LNP, who I call the Lady Dr, in Urgent Care at the clinic where my wife works is better than my Dr who is one of the partners at the same clinic. She is very thorough and very much like Drs of old and does things like "You have all the symptoms of gout, you can have expensive bloodwork to confirm it or we can treat it like gout and go from there". Wow, when was the last time a Dr considered cost to the patient. That would be the family Dr we had in the 60's when I was a young'un. The reason why it's taking so long is because I kept working instead of taking a day or two off to keep my feet up and let my body heal. So, I'm going to work this morning so, George (my boss) can make the necessary adjustments and get someone to fill in. I'm working 7 days a week; six 6 hour shifts and a four hour shift. There are 8 more weeks of daily activities, after that things slow down until the season ends in October.
Back to the Lady Dr, she said that staying on my feet like I have, has the effect of aggravating the pressure points on my feet and making recovery difficult. So, I'm breaking down and taking a day off tomorrow. Pray you'nz.
