Employment
#1
Please keep me in prayer for new employment.

My last employment situation ended amicably on May 12, with a decent severance package that will keep me "normal" for a few months.

I know God has something for me to do, but I don't think I've found it yet.

Lord Jehovah Jireh, look upon the needs of our brother. Provide what You alone can offer.

I am retired now but during my active working career I terminated employment twice with severance and did not have a clue where I would land next. The Lord was always faithful to care for me and provide new employment on his timing. Each of those new jobs were better than the last and this blessing has anchored my faith thru the years. Praying for you now Ben.

Thanks, All, for your prayers and encouragement. I'm pleased to report I started a new job just over a week ago (Aug 29) with a company that seems very good.

In God's perfect timing, my first paycheck should arrive just about when the severance check amount runs out. God is faithful.

The new job is 100% remote work, which is a blessing above and beyond (no commute, no fuel costs, no winter weather to deal with between home and work), and I count myself very blessed.  Praise the Lord!

Oh wow!  Praise the Lord!    What a wonderful opportunity, with being able to work at home to boot.  I am soooo very happy for you, Benjamin.    Big Grin

Yeah! Praise Him Smile

I've been 99% remote since the authoritarian lockdowns; recently I've been going into the office once a week. Believe me, you'll probably get antsy after a while. If there's a coffeeshop or some such with a good wifi connection near you, it might be good to frequent it if you feel the need Smile
