At the back of my house earlier today.

Relatedly, we also have a serious tornado warning right now.

Wow! You have lots of trees too! Yeah, weather can be mightily beautiful and then dangerous. Prayers lifting for you and all, Jay!

Trust the Lord. It's all I can do when they start coming around our home.

Thanks, family. The warning was significant but didn't last long for our area. We had to hang out in the basement for maybe 30 minutes. I came up to grab the bird from the daughter's room, and I saw a ton of rain and wind outside. No tornados popped up around here, but some decent wind damage in nearby neighborhood near the city.

The photo is a bit deceptive re: the trees. There's a street that runs parallel to mine, behind my house, and the trees you see are behind the houses on that street. Large hill going down, too, but I guess there are a decent fill of trees; we just can't really see them. Most of the place around here is densely suburban, so not as forest-y.

By the way, that bare tree you see on the left has been dead for over a decade now, technically belonging to the property behind us. It's a tall fellow, and it provides us with free firewood when the wind blows some of its corpse off. The Lord provides Smile
