My jaw won't open
#1
I don't know if I even mentioned that I have had three root canals and a new crown in the making over the last two months.

The last root canal is still a work in progress - the time it took and the canals that couldn't be gotten to due to time constraints and my little body not being able to hold my mouth open any longer, forced us to stop.  That was on May 12th.  After all that, coupled with my fibromyalgia (which doesn't do well with surgeries of any kind), I have not been able to open my mouth very wide because it hurts that bad to do so.  Brushing my teeth, yawning and eating are a challenge.  I took my daughter out to eat for lunch today and I was only able to open my mouth wide enough to slide in some mashed potatoes and sliced avocado.

This coming Monday I am supposed to get the permanent crown put on - IF I can open my mouth wide enough.  On June 9th, that last root canal is scheduled to be finished.

I am doing all that I know to do about this - NSAIDS for inflammation, warm compresses, light massage, soft foods.  So far, nothing is working.  Tonight I will take a muscle relaxer and add Tylenol to the mix.  I DON'T like pills, but got to try what I can to fix this.  The docs I have talked to recommended what I am already doing.  They did suggest a steroid, but I can't take those.  This condition is known as "trismus", by the way.

Anyhow,  I know there are lots of folks with far more serious problems that what I have, but it has been a bit difficult for me.  So, I could use some prayers as well, my dear family.

Love you all.

A great many people are up against the wall on health issues in America today. Our enemies have been set loose on the country. I'm praying for a miracle to change your situation, something that glorifies the Lord and marks out His people.

Pam and I will pray for you tonight, Linda.

I also received news of another medical issue (not mine). I'll post separately about it.

It is SO wonderful that we have each other to pray for whatever we need.  I love it!   Thank you.  Lifting each other up in prayer is SO important, especially with the world as it is today -- the enemies time is short.  Jesus already won.....   we just need to hang on for a little bit longer....

I love you guys!
