PC point system - IainH - 07-06-2019 Political Correctness in effect is the application of the critical theories of race, class and gender to all human interaction. There is a point system but, not all points are created equal. Approved Race equals 1 point Approved Class equals 1 point Approved Sex equals 1 point Approved Gender equals 1 point Ones aggregate determines ones status within the system and is used in Government and Corporations with regard to hiring and promotion. There is the final point and it is actually worth either 1 or more. It is the defining point, it either adds 1 or it subtracts whatever the sum of the other points is, leaving 0. It can also add 4 to 0 or can have negative value depending on the general mood of the day. This point is Politics. The god point. If you are a poor, black, progressive woman you have 4 points. If you are a poor, female, progressive Asian transgender you have 5 points. There are a lot of combinations. No matter what your points are, if you are not progressive you lose all your points. For example, a gay, Asian centrist has 0 points and can be assaulted by mask wearing rich, white kids. Without the god point, the assault on Andy Ngo would have created waves of outrage from the left. Which leads to the negative points which can be offset by the god point. White Races equals -1 Heterosexual equals -1 Male Sex equals -1 Female Sex equals 0, which is really neutral but, I'm not taking it out. I don't do Reason. Religion equals -1 Center to Right Politics equals -3. Under this system, I have a score of -7. Which means my arrest after the Left gains full control. Again the god point trumps all. This system is pretty close to what is practiced in America today and it is based on ideology. I don't have ideology, I reject the concept of ideology as something artificial and evil. Jesus did not teach ideology, no one in the Ancient world would have understood it. The tribal structure of the Bible is built on covenant. Life in a covenant society is based on associations and as such of obligations. Individual rights do not exist, the pursuit of individual happiness does not exist and the end of such is folly. I may extend this to another post. It touches on the mission that I'm being turned to. I haven't taken it out of the heart and given it substance in the material realm, it nonetheless exists. So, yeah..uh. I'm done. This started as satire and morphed. Whatever. There are lots of progression Christian folks, though "lots" might be misleading, because I'm sure they get lots of positive press space devoted to them. But, if you're vocally not progressive, you pretty much lose all your points. If you want to retain any points you have and you're to the right of Marx, you'd probably want to keep as quiet as possible. Individual happiness is anathema in a real covenant relationship, but there's a certain happiness, better labeled as "joy," in discovering your individual calling within that covenant. It's not so uniform as people make it out to be, since we all have our different gifts and inclinations. RE: PC point system - Ed Hurst - 07-07-2019 Yeah, I think the loss of points for being to the right of Marx can escalate beyond any sense at all, Iain. We who consciously reject the whole frame of reference can't climb out of the SJW black hole. But our cheerful rejection is part of that joy you refer to, Jay. |
