Monday, Monday while the S.A.W.* is moping around in a foul mood, I shall be filled with "Joy unspeakable and full of Glory" in Christ, pray that it positively glows as it overflows. And, my prayer is that He do likewise for you'uns. In some ways it's understandable in the sense that it's a form of social bonding to kvetch about the same things as other folks. I never bought into it mostly because I hate small talky stuff and I'm generally in a decent mood regardless. It also helps that I'm no materialist, so I know getting agitated about things outside of my direct control is useless and really a barrier from enjoying grace. |
