Okay so my guardian angel won't go on the title line. It can go here, I do know he sends angels to guard over us and that's what they do. They are sentries who protect that which belongs to our Lord. Agents of Satan know by their presence not to mess with God's kids. Mmmm... Now that is a praise to go to sleep on.. If you happen to read this before 5:45am EST pray for a safe journey as they are calling for ice in the morning, I will get to work or bust, "Lord willin' and the creek don't rise". It's been icy-rainy here today, overnight. I don't know how bad the roads are but I decided to wfh (work from home). In this weather I usually walk instead of cycle in. And there's no danger in taking the bus since those are indestructible, given the context.

5:50am Thursday, I went and started the car, it was raining 1/8th" ice on the back deck and I slipped enough to give my back a good jolt, ten minutes later there was 1/4" of ice. "Mmm....I'd better be careful". I was and made it safely to work on time. Nana lost power and the power company says 1am. My wife invited her to come and have a sleepover but, she declined, don't want to leave her house.
Saturday is supposed to be nice so I'm going to take Buttercup for one last ride before she gets winterized. 2019 spring she gets new shocks and a front fork rebuild so I can take me a weekend camp to the Roan.

We got ice, too, but it didn't last long. I have a shed in the backyard and the small ramp up to it was a sheet of slipperyness. That was interesting.

I laughed (not out loud) at that story; it sounds like something I would do. My head is always somewhere else, by design, which is something I've mentioned plenty of times on here.
Another question: how did she get the name "Buttercup"?
