I used to do a fair amount of backpacking and really love the Northwoods. This is from more than a few years ago up in da UP (Michigan).

Leaves are starting to turn here. I'm hoping I can get some good high-elevation shots of the trees here, on one of the trails. There's gotta be a few spots but most of the hills overlook grassy areas or one of the rivers here.

It will come suddenly here in OKC area, and we have only a few trees that put on a show. I'll be watching for chances to shoot good images.
