The "hacky" solution turned out to be more complicated than I thought, but it worked. Now onto the the cover design. Just a warning: it won't be anything fancy. Ed sent me pictures he used for the ebook versions, so I will use those or something like them.

Also, it feels like I am getting mildly sick (not with you-know-what), so it may be a bit before I finally get this first book out the door.
Well, just so you know Jay, I/we appreciate your efforts doing this for all of us.  I literally cannot wait.

I pray health fills your body and His healing hands touch you in a very special way!

Love you, Brother!
Praying for you too

You know it occurs to me that the Lord really wants these books in print. The warfare is stirred. Jay is under some attacks. What a ride! I am praying, “ Lord, Grant Jay strength for the battle.”
“I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps; His Truth is marching on.”
Thanks, you two.

Lulu isn't working out, so I am going with Amazon's printing services. Lulu forces you to set the price of the book with a minimum of revenue added onto the base price, which is ridiculous even if I wanted to make money off of it.

At Lulu, the "at cost" for the first book (683 pages) is $15.99. but I can't list it at that price. They force you to set the list price at double that, so the book would be $31.98 at a minimum. That's not going to work. With amazon, you can set the price so that it only covers the printing cost, plus 60%, which is amazon's mark up. I don't know the at cost of the book on amazon yet, but let's say it's $15.99 like Lulu. That would make the list price $25.58, much better than $31.98. But we'll see when I finish that setup.
Wow. Inflation is biting everywhere.
Some good news: finished everything with the first print book. Now I'm just waiting for the review and approval from amazon and it will be live, within a few days. I'll post here when it's up.

More good news: it will cost around $15. Not a bad price for a nearly 700 page book. Please note again that neither Ed nor I are making money on this, so that cost is as low as it can get.
First book is now live on amazon!

I haven't ordered a copy yet, so I have don't know how it looks/feels. I'll do that soon, as well as getting started on the next book.
Amen. I'll order one or more when I get paid at the end of the month.
Soooooo excited just ordered my copy will be at my door December 29, wooo hooo!!!! Thank you Jay. Thank you Ed. You cannot know how much this means to me.
Added a link to the paperback on the library page.
