Mel Brooks made a living joking about Nazi's! I guess Vox has never seen The Producers.

I'm thinking he refers to the latest hyper-sensitivity that would prevent yesterday's comedies being made today.

The American left was asking for it. They were doing that sort of uber-Victorian moral policing for a good while now.
